PAWA offers support to Palestinians in Australia, including health care, education, employment, housing, and essential donations. They assist with visas, transport, banking, and driving, while also fostering community connections through events and partnerships.
Health and Wellbeing
- Access and referrals to Health and Medical Services. - Psychological and Mental health support. - Community Welfare and wellbeing events, functions, and outings.
Education and Employment
- Referrals and support with Employment opportunities. - Referrals and support for Educational/Higher Education placements and qualifications. - Support with School Enrolments.
Accommodation and Living Assistance
- Assistance with housing/rentals and other accommodation. - Donations of furniture and household goods. - Donations of food and general supplies.
Settlement and Integration
- Payment and booking of flights for Palestinians with approved visas coming to Australia (Sydney). - Support with driving lessons and acquiring licences. - Assistance acquiring Opal cards. - Assistance opening bank accounts. - Community networking and support.
